Consumers continue to buy more through e-commerce sites or direct from product manufacturers. While functional, the boring brown shipping case doesn’t add to the brand image. Some leading companies have stylized their boxes to make a great first impression and improve the buyer’s interaction with the product. Anticipation (ooh, what’s in the box?!) and eco-economy (making a brown box green) enhance experience.

Lisa McTigue Pierce has been an active member of the IoPP and Chicago Chapter for many years. Prior to her latest endeavor, she has worked as the Chief Editor of several packaging magazines. She has written hundreds of articles on the latest and greatest happenings in the packaging world. We can always count on interesting, insightful and intriguing information about new trends in packaging.
