Sales – Established Green Business - Milwaukee, WI and Virtual
This small-sized sustainable manufacturer located in Milwaukee, WI finds itself in a unique situation after 20+ years of building a successful brand. The marketing channels of the retail packaging marketplace have been changing for some time and this company has been traveling the familiar routes.
On the product side, their competitive advantages are its smaller and more nimble size (for customization) than its traditional competitors, most of whom are overseas; and its completely sustainable and eco-friendly products, which have no competition. There is uniqueness in the way the product is manufactured that is surprising and needs to be better communicated to the market.
Embracing this new paradigm, they have begun a search for a salesperson to take charge of the channels that been under-served – direct accounts, B2B distributor sales and the green marketplace. Concurrently they are developing a complementary online strategy to drive business and create buzz and sales leads. This online effort will be lead by the owner of the business in order to let the sales person focus on his/her two channels. There is an accompanying marketing budget and support staff in place for your effort.
Generous commissions and a short-term draw to make sure this is the correct fit, and there is an opportunity for the more motivated person to take ownership of this business in a few years. You could be earlier in your career if you are a passionate, highly-motivated person, or you could be someone returning to the work world that might need some flexibility.
This recruitment process will be extremely open as all expectations and potentials will be clearly defined and measured.
